    TimescaleDB setup

    Hi, everyone. I try to use timescaledb.

    There is a explanation about it Zabbix help document say;

    "To successfully remove compressed data by housekeeper, both Override item history period and Override item trend period options must be enabled. If override is disabled and tables have compressed chunks, the housekeeper will not remove data from these tables, and warnings about incorrect configuration will be displayed in the Housekeeping and System information sections."

    If I set "Override item trend period" and "Override item history period" option to 31 days, will housekeeper delete the old graphs etc?

    Thanks

    In essence, yes, if you have set those limits in global config, housekeeper removes data, what is older, than those limits. Might not happen with one housekeeper run...

    If you set history and trends to same number, trends lose their point...
