Agent does not collect data

Hi all,

Some time ago I updated the zabbix agent from 6.0.22 to 7.0.2 on Linux Red Hat. The update was successful and systemctl status zabbix_agent2 returns active (running) without errors. However, no logs appear, both in the frontend and in the /var/log/zabbix/zabbix_agent2.log file. The last entry vin file is Zabbix Agent 2 stopped (6.0.22).
Do you have any tips on what I should check, the configuration is the same as for the agent in the version before the update, so here the situation looks ok.

More of your log could come in handy. There are many issues which might cause zabbix_agent to stop.

Hey!

Lately there's been some people relating the agent not starting because of a nvidia plugin:

Since the agent isn't even writing in it's log file (I suppose that DebugLevel is on default on agent conf), are you sure that the agent has permissions to write to the log file?
Maybe you have some kind of apparmor that is blocking Zabbix agent?

Just some suggestions for you to test.
