    Zabbix Agent Dependencies

    So I have some custom templates that monitor say CROND, NTP etc..

    Issue I have is:
    If zabbix-agent is unreachable for more than 5 minutes, all other templates fire up the trigger..

    Zabbix Agent is down > CROND is down > NTP is down...

    What I want essentially is.

    If Zabbix Agent is down .. just alert me on that.. and its self explanatory that crond, ntp is not going to report anyway..

    How can I make that happen?

    Edit: Or is this more of a "LINK" between the templates?

      what zabbix agent\server do you have ?
      i think its zabbix 2.X issues.

      is the triggers made with nodata() ?
