Zabbix with Meraki and Host Group
Hello everyone,
first of all I wanted to say that I have been wanting to switch from PRTG for 2 days and am in the process of setting up a construct and system.
The start was a bit hoplige but bit by bit it is getting better.
I still have a lot of problems with the dashboard but for now I'm trying to get all the data.
So there will probably be a few questions over the next few days.
To my question today:
I use Meraki and we have over 100 sites.
I use the Meraki Discovery Device Template which works great, but it now matches everything into a host group that can only be customized in the Discovery Template level.
But I now have the use case that I need all devices per site in Meraki, for example.
For example, we have several offices in Germany.
Let's assume that the internal number (which is also in the host string) of BErlin is 500.
Then I now have several devices in Zabbix that all have 405 - Berlin.
These would then have to be added to the host group 405

It would be great if I can map here the host group 405 - Berlin
I cant do that in the template because there are also other locations which whould obvioiusly then wrong.
Some idea how to implement that?
