Stream data from one zabbix to another

Hi guys,

Is is possible to stream data from one zabbix to another?

We are outsourcing services but client have its own zabbix and we need to stream their data into ours. So we dont need to look to two zabbixes.
Is is possible?

This is an interesting topic that i've been looking into myself as it is relevant for a use case i have as well.
There doesn't seem to be any native out of the box solution yet, so i have an open request with Zabbix to get this on the roadmap. They have responded saying that it is a very interesting feature they really would like to look further at, but requires a lot of development hours which they currently do not have.

The best solution i've found is the following blog article: Zabbix Server-to-Server Replication - Zabbix Blog.
Apart from that you could look at the Zabbix Streaming Protocol together with zabbix_sender, which is what i'll be doing.

Using Zabbix as receiving end of evets from random sources (without the need to have hosts/items etc) would make people happy..
this is in v8 roadmap
