Timeout while connecting to [xxxxxx]

Hello All,

I'm running v1.1.4 & I am able to monitor all my linux systems. But somehow, all my windows xp boxes displays the error:
Timeout while connecting to [windows_hostname]

Server log shows:
Timeout while connecting to [windows_hostname]
Host [windows_hostname] will be checked after 60 seconds

win32 agent service starts without any error & event viewer lists that service started & Listen thread is Started.
I can ping all windows boxes from zabbix server. Agent port is 10050 & server port is 10051.

Is there a firewall between the zabbix server and windows agents?

Can the name of the windows box running the agent be resolved by the server properly?

Can you telnet to port 10050 on the windows box and send simple query strings to the agent, and does it return values?

Thanks a lot Paul. It was Windwos desktop firewall. I added port 10050 to firewall exception list & now its working.
