The query/help is regarding the ethernet devices like Ciena etc.

Can i monitor these high end ethernet devices using Zabbix?

If yes, then how ?

if its a device you you cant install agent on it - then you have snmp.
open snmp on this device and start monitoring - you have a lot of guide on google for this
