I've seen several posts about the fact that deleted hosts in Zabbix are "rediscovered" even when the host no longer exists. What I haven't seen is an answer to this issue. Does anyone know how to delete retired servers from Zabbix monitoring so that they don't come back? Do we need to set some kind of condition in autodiscovery so it makes sure the Zabbix agent is actually alive before it 'discovers' the server?
