Why do we change HOME in "userparameter_mysql.conf"

Hi All,
Like to request advice,
I am trying to get information from mysql database, when I have searched I got the links

It is for Zabbix 2, and published on 2013. since lots of development has gone through and now we are using zabbix 3.2. should we change the home parameter in ""userparameter_mysql.conf""
to /etc/zabbix

I got the answer,

 For all the following commands HOME should be set to the directory that has .my.cnf file with password information.

This is the reason, so if I am keeping .my.cnf at /etc/zabbix, then the home should be set to it
