Extracting values from a Text history
I setup a python script that logs temperature and Humidity using a Rasp Pi and a DHT11 the logs only work if I set the Type of information as Text. I need to extract the numerical values from the Temp and Humidity so I can graph them and create triggers. I am sure that I need to configure this using preprocessing but I am not sure where to start

Create two dependent elements of the number type with a preprocessing step in which, using regex, determine the capture group that will select the desired number
1) pattern Temp=(\d+\.\d+) output \1

Hamardan, thanks for the help. that was exactly what I needed. The only thing that I changed was not including the output before the \1
