Action on discovery items

Hi guys,

I have create a template and a discovery rules which it will discover the power supply after i assigned the template to my network switches and it is working as expected.

I have created a trigger for the discovery items so when the power supply is down, it will trigger the alert.

However, when i am trying to create an action which it will send me email alert when the power supply is down, I can't find the trigger i created just now.

I have attached the image as well. Can anyone give some advice on where i made mistake or miss any steps ?

Hi, Xyue.
You try to use condition "Trigger= ", but there aren't any triggers in your template, trigger prorotypes only. Unfortunately, Zabbix action hasn't condition "Trigger prorotype =".
Try another condition, for example, "Trigger name like", "Application =", "Template = ".

Hi Semiadmin,

Tried the way you suggest to use the"Trigger Name" but it is not working. I tried another way which include the below condition in the action and it is working.

Template = Template_Nexus
Trigger value = Problem
Trigger severity = High
