    I'm not sure about how it will work if you have multiple scenarios in a single host, but I've used templates for single scenario per host and basically I just have some user macros for each field of the configured step. Like {$URL}, {$REQUIRED.CODE}, {$SEARCH.TEXT}

      I've found this very helpfull description:

      Learn step-by-step how to create Zabbix Website scenarios with examples and how to simplify the process of web monitoring!


      Based on the steps described on this page I can create a template which is more flexible, e.g. for specifying different ports for web scenarios and so on, but unfortunately also with this solution only one step can be configured for a scenario for one host.

      I'll start with this template and see later how I can monitor hosts that need more steps.
