    Trigger status - uknown

    Hi every1,

I check my lan hosts (wireless clients) using this type of trigger:

    {lan-host:icmpping.max(#4)}=0

why do i sometimes get UKNOWN trigger value ?

Is there a way to disable UKNOWN values? It is really anoying to see all those UKNOWN / OFF values instead of seeing only OFF/ON

I think your trigger syntax may be wrong:

    {lan-host:icmpping.max(#4)}=0

I think you are looking for somethign like :
    {lan-host:icmpping.max(30)}=0

This would look at the last 30 seconds to see if the values are equal to 0

The unknown state for triggers just indicates that there isn't the right data availabel to say the trigger is on or off. That is my understanding of the unknown state at least!!

I believe it is fixed for pre-1.1.5 and 1.3.x.
