Top hosts / Top items, Windows C:,D:,E: partions with different labels

    Hi,

I'm looking for help to get Top hosts or Top items to display Windows servers C:,D:,E: etc. partitions space in use, regardless of the "label" the partition has.
We fetch the data with Zabbix agent 2 and use the default "Windows by Zabbix agent active" template.
For example there are are servers with partitions without any name/label, with names of the server, named "DATA", "Data" and so on, this creates the problem of having to add all different combinations of the "item name" in different columns.
    For example:
FS [(D]: Space: Used, in %
FS [Data(D]: Space: Used, in %
FS [DATA(D]: Space: Used, in %
FS [SSD(D]: Space: Used, in %
FS [New volume(D]: Space: Used, in %

What I'm looking to do it have the widget list for example D: partition free space or used space, regardless of the name of the partition, is this possible to do?
I have tried to use the data value for example: vfs.fs.dependent.size[D:,pused] but this does not show any data/information at all.
Or can one somehow add more "item name" to the same column, I don't see how?

    Thanks.

Label is just used in item name, in the background data is still looked up and queried just by "letter"..
FS [{#FSLABEL}({#FSNAME})]: Space: Used, in % Calculated as the percentage of currently used space compared to the maximum available space. Dependent item vfs.fs.dependent.size[{#FSNAME},pused]

    Preprocessing
    • JSON Path: $.bytes.pused
If you dont care about the label anyway, edit the prototype(s) and remove {#FSLABEL} from item name and you are left with just {#FSNAME} ie letter. Triggers can still contain labels...

Thanks cyber, I had no idea one could edit these "item names". I guess these are the ones you are referring too?

If I edit "item protypes" in the original template "Windows by Zabbix agent active" (this template is in use on all Windows hosts), will this change then take affect on all hosts that have the template? Or does one need to do anything after the edit?

It will affect all the hosts, where template is added. I don't think you need to do much more than wait the discovery to run again and those names should change on the fly (as you are not touching item keys, it should just update existing and not create new ones... I think... )
