snmpwalk discovery rule that requires multiple branches

Say I have a vendor-specific part of the OID tree that retrieves SFP light levels

1.3.6.1.4.1.9999.1.2.3.4.10

but I also need to incorporate the interface descriptions from ifAlias to make it meaningful, how would I go about this? the walk[oid] structure only seems to allow for one branch and I don't want to scan the entire tree.

Where did you see that it only allows one?

Even the first example shows 2... separated by comma.
