Thresholds - no numeric data problem

Hello guys,

I downloaded an snmp template: https://github.com/hshimomura/zabbix-cisco-9800. The template itself works well, the only problem I am unable to solve currently is that I cannot assign a threshold to a specific item.

The threshold is reporting that the data being passed is not numeric.



However, I cannot figure out why that would be the case.

The poll returns 'INTEGER: 1' for this specific item instance, and the template even has a value mapping that is working:







Can you please point me where to investigate further?

ah, I missed the 'Type of Information' .. it's working now

Value mapping seems legit, and you say it is working also... are you trying to create somekind of trigger?

Where do you see that "The threshold is reporting that the data being passed is not numeric." ??

it's a threshold for the color change feature, but as I said in my first comment - I solved this by changing the 'Type of Information' parameter in the Item settings - I guess this could be a strict check for the value passing in the Threshold option
