Setup host prototype macro tagging | Vmware discovery

Hi Yall,

I am trying to reduce the number of templates we have for VMWare monitoring.
We currently have multiple templates with in the host discovery tags for the Customer and some other customer tags.

I am trying to create 1 template for al our customers by using Macro's. But there is a problem. When i set the macro on the host this will not pass-through to the discovered ESX host.
Within the tag tab the value is still something like {$CUSTOMER}

I have set on the host itself the macro like {$CUSTOMER} with a value of test. And within the host prototype i have setup the tag Name Customer and value {$CUSTOMER}.

Is there anyway to setup this up correctly?

Macros will be resolved during event generation. In config page it is still as "Macro".
