Exclude services from automatic discovery - automatic deletion?

    Hi,

when I add a Windows Service to the exclution List {$SERVICE.NAME.NOT_MATCHES} will the Service automaticly deleted on the next run?
Or have I delete it manual?

    Bye

Depends on how "keep lost resources" period is configured. if you set it to 0, then not discovered things will be deleted immediately.

I am using Zabbix 6.0.40. Yesterday, I tried to exclude additional Windows services from discovery at the host level (see screenshot II).
However, the services are still being detected and triggers are still being fired (see screenshot I).

The update interval and keep lost resources period are set to the default values (1 hour and 30 days).
What did I overlook in the configuration?

Thanks in advance for your support!

If you modified the service discovery conditions yesterday, the already discovered services will still be monitored for 29 days.

Go and see the discovered items on the host, and delete the excluded service items manually at this point if you want.

Btw, normally you shouldn't edit the discovery rule filters but add/edit the {$SERVICE.NAME.NOT_MATCHES} macro on the host.
