Using Zabbix to monitor VIM load

Hi,
First post and hopefully in the right place...

I would like to ask if I can use Zabbix to monitor the NFV VIM (Openstack controller, community addition) to find its (and its services) maximum capacity of large scale compute nodes
That is, consider adding 100s and 1000s of compute nodes to the VIM, I am looking for ways to find or even better, predictm the max number of compute nodes that may be added to one controller (all services run on the same server)

So, I wanted to ask if Zabbix is the right tool for the job and if yes, how?

Yes, it is possible, in this case you will have to develop the scripts for Zabbix to store this data and generate events.
