How to configure Zabbix to manage printer queues

Hello,
I have about 50 application servers running Windows Server 2022 and TSplus. It's very important for me to be notified when a document is queued for a printer on these servers. Is it possible to configure Zabbix to send a notification when a printer encounters an issue and is holding documents in the queue?
Zabbix Agent version is 6.0.1.2400

Hi,

I would say use the UserParameter option in the agent config and point it to a powershell script which can read your preferred printer queue. Than create your own "Printer Queue" template by which you query/start the script configured at UserParameter and process its output, json or otherwise.

Downside is that you need to place that script and configure the agent on your 50 servers.

An other option is to use the windows eventlog but then you need reconfigured the agents to active and I do not know if TSplus uses or can use the windows event log to log the number of documents in the printer queue.
