    Restore and daily backup

I was looking for how to restore/backup, but I was unable to find this in the documentation.
And searching the Zabbix Forum - kind of - gives sporadic solutions.

I would like to have a dayly replica of our Zabbix setup (with all settings) and databse(s).
And also how to use the replica as a mens to do a restore.

Is there a simple way to do this?

Backuping your DB is your task. It is not part of Zabbix (as well as setting up any DB engines etc). So everything depends, on what you have there... and how big is your instance and how do you manage it now...
In case of all-in-one and if you use vmware, you can just take a snapshot of your host...
When you have bigger setup and separate hosts for frontend, db and server, I would keep config separately and deploy it with ansible or any other similar tool, what you may have there... Then you dont need to back it up and can deploy config any time.. only concern is to have a DB backup... Or you can set up High Available DB, which has continuous replication to other site or something..

Yea.. they have a bit different nature, but you can still revert back to certain snapshot.. In my eyes it is almost as backup.. Just short term.
And with Veeam, it is, as we any other tool, you have to have it first..
