We're running Zabbix 7.0.12 on Ubuntu 24.04. I've configured the snmp trap receiver with the perl script (see https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...0Perl%2C%20Net).
I'm not that thrilled about this solution. Do any of you know about a better way to intgerate a snmp notify/trap receiver to zabbix?
Because my first problem is already: how do I automatically sync the configured snmp credentials (user, password, encryption, snmp version, algorithms) from the database into the snmptrapd.conf file?
That would be a bit ugly, because having a bunch of credentials in a config file is not how you should handle credentials anyway...
How do you handle snmp notify/trap receivers?
