    Recovery email sent for short-duration problem without problem notification

    I'm facing a tricky issue with my Zabbix notification configuration and hope for your expertise.

    I have multiple triggers that create a problem event after 15 minutes if a problem persists. After another 15 minutes, a problem email should be sent. All of this works well so far. Now I also wanted to set up the resolved or OK emails. However, I only want to send these for problems for which a problem email has already been sent. If the problem is resolved before those initial 15 minutes have passed, no email should be sent at all.

    I'm very grateful for your help, I'm simply stuck.

    Recovery action should be "Notify all involved" not "send message to... ".
    "Send message" is fixed action, it will be executed every time. "Notify all involved" notifies only in case, if something was sent out in the beginning. If you delayed that sending and things got fixed, there is noone to notify.

    It is all actually here in docs also...Maybe should be written a bitmore clearly....

    • Send message - send recovery message to specified user;
    • Notify all involved - send recovery message to all users who were notified on the problem event;
    If noone was notified in problem event, noone can be notified in recovery event also.
