Zabbix mail configuration 2.4.8

I am using zabbix version 2.4.8.

I have defined following settings
Name : Email
Type : Email
SMTP server : smtp.gmail.com
SMTP helo : gmail.com
SMTP email : [email protected]

In action log I am getting either one of following error

1. wrong answer on MAIL FROM "530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first. d65sm11951qkc.53 - gsmtp"

2. cannot connect to SMTP server "smtp.gmail.com": cannot connect to [[smtp.gmail.com]:25]: [4] Interrupted system call

There is no option to set port or password. I can not send mail. Please post your replies

With the Zabbix 2.4.8 standard mail sending function, smtp.gmail.com can not be used to send mails.
The standard mail sending function only supports the SMTP protocol using port 25.

It is necessary to register and use your own mail sending script as media or upgrade to Zabbix 3.0 or later.
