WEB Monitoring-how to save html pages

    Hi everyone,
I have a lot of IP cameras that monitor them with snmp. Nevertheless, I would like to save the image every day from these cameras - their images appear on the main html pages of cams. Because cameras have their own specific settings, I would also like to save the setup state as a screenshot or normal page from the html page of cams - just once a month (sometimes employees make corrections in camera configurations - config file is not a solution in this case - old cameras, different firmwares, etc...). Is it possible to make in our ZABBIX?

    Hello treborm!

There is no build-in way of saving pictures as item values in Zabbix.
However, you can try to add an external check script that would fetch the image for camera shots or make a screenshot of config page, then convert the image into base64 format and store it in Zabbix item.
In case you would need to see the image, you would require to decode base64 string kept in Zabbix DB. Automate it by performing Zabbix API history.get method and decode using third-party tools.

Thank you for your answer. It is too complicated for me today. I will use an external tool to save entire http pages via eg HTTrack.
