Invalid URL & PacketBeat

Hi all,

I have two questions as stated in the title above.

1. Can Zabbix monitor invalid url?
For example, I wrongly key in invalid url (web monitoring). Can zabbix detect the url was not valid? Possible is it?

2. Monitor Windows using packetbeat?
Is it possible to monitor windows using packetbeat? I know that we can monitor windows using SNMP & Zabbix Agent, can packetbeat function as well?

Hello Mun!

1. Zabbix will lookup everything you hit in, just like curl does.
2. No direct integration available. You can convert PacketBeat data to JSON and try to feed it to Zabbix server, though.

Thanks for your fast replied, i already get the item 1 done but then for item no 2, I'm still looking for converting the PacketBeat data to JSON. Do you have any websites that i can refer to?

No easy task, because I lack the knowledge about Packetbeat/Logstash/Elasticsearch. Since Packetbeat only sends the data, I think it would be more productive to search for an option to export from Logstash/Elasticsearch to Zabbix. And there are some results indeed:
