Resume "not supported" items

I accidently deleted some userparameters conf on one of my host
so the agent was not supporting anymore few items key (namely mysql checks)

I write the file back in the directory but zabbix still show the elements as not supported

tried to reboot zabbix agent, zabbix server, manually disable/re-enable the items on the host and check the general settings > others to force the unsupported item refresh every 30 seconds but still, the host display the items as not supported.

How can we enable back elements on a particular Host

By default, it will not get a 10 minute value if it not supported.
After placing the userparameter configuration file and restarting the agent, leave it as it is for about 10 minutes.

If you want to make it shorter than 10 minutes, try setting the time of Refresh unsupported items shorter.

Administration -> General -> Other -> Refresh unsupported items (in sec)

As a troubleshooting step, it is convenient to use zabbix_agentd -t <item.key> to see, if item actually works.

I didn't know about thet zabbix_agent -t command and it actually help solved the issue.

Regarding the not supported items, re-enabling an item directly display the old "unsuported item" label but after a few minutes it came back to enabled.
