zabbix trapper item interval

I have created an item with the type of zabbix trapper。
how should i set the item's update interval ?

Update interval is not used for trapper items. For example, in Zabbix 3.2.6 trapper items doesn't even have this configuration field: http://prntscr.com/feyk12
