    SNMP Traps Email

    Hi Guys,

I have a Zabbix server configured to send an email whenever an SNMP Trap is received. Whats happening is this Trap message is being forwarded by Zabbix they way it's received.

However, this Trap message contains lots of unnecessary information which makes the whole email very confusing and difficult to read.

Is it possible to customise the email into a more readable format?

    Regards

            Hi,

I cave configured a trigger called "unmatched SNMP trap received from{HOST.NAME}".

The above trigger is linked to "Template:SNMP Trap Fallback".

Therefor, whenever an SNMP trap is received, the above trigger sends an email. Email setting is set to default.

Below is the copy of an example email,

Trigger: Unmatched SNMP trap received from AppearTV 01 Trigger status: OK Trigger severity: Information Trigger URL:

              look here :

you need to find a way to filter the snmp3 trap info itself.
seems your ,message configuration is ok
