Zabbix proxy monitoring

I'm trying to setup proxy monitoring in zabbix 7.0 using original templates by zabbix (https://git.zabbix.com/projects/ZBX/...Frelease%2F7.0) but I'm a little confused which template should I use. I've configured host witch IP zabbix proxy as agent, assigned template Zabbix proxy health and instantly I've an alarm on that host:
"Zabbix proxy: Zabbix proxy template is assigned to Zabbix server". Indeed item: Zabbix proxy check has value 1 (false). What am I doing wrong?

Is that host monitored by server or proxy? Should be monitored by that same proxy, think...

By server. I'd like to avoid monitoring proxy by proxy itself because in case of proxy fail I will not receive any information. Is there any strict documentation how and when to use which template?

Remote Zabbix proxy health

Zabbix proxy health by Zabbix agent

This template is designed to monitor internal Zabbix metrics on the remote Zabbix proxy via the passive Zabbix agent.

Zabbix proxy health by Zabbix agent active

This template is designed to monitor internal Zabbix metrics on the remote Zabbix proxy via the active Zabbix agent.

All this is on the page you linked... So choose, which scenario applies to you .. internal items directly or via remote calls etc..

Internal checks are calculated:
on Zabbix server - if the host is monitored by server
on Zabbix proxy - if the host is monitored by proxy
If your host is monitored by server, those internal items are queried from server and in case of proxy specific items, you will get that "proxy template assigned to server" issue... If your proxy is monitored by itself, all those internal items are queried from that proxy itself.

And there is also a server template, which doaes proxy discovery and queries them...
