Possibility to upgrade´\migrate zabbix 7.2 appliance

I´m really new to the zabbix implementation and made a slight error by deploying it in our enterprise, i used the appliance because it seemed so pretty easy deploying on our Hyper-V hosts.
In the following we added all our ressources to this appliance installation, but i have overseen that it isn´t used for productive environment.
Therefore I´m posting in this forum:
I would need a step-by-step guide to migrate this appliance installation to either a new zabbix installation or upgrade my installation to a full installation to Almalinux 9.6 to save my ressources data and the configuration of the existing appliance.

That's doable although there is no step-by-step manual for your case. Most important is the database, as long you have it somewhere safe the rest won't matter. So, backup you Zabbix database, install a new Zabbix instance as suggested in the Zabbix manual, setup the database server with the backup-ed Zabbix database then point your Zabbix instance to the database.

    edit:
Only be careful when you use scripts in the externalscripts directory, make sure to backup them too.
