    Zabbix Server/Proxy Housekeeping

    Hi,

we use the latest zabbix server with 4 proxies in passive mode. I see from the graphs that the housekeeping process is running on the proxies AND on the server itself.
Would´t be enough to let the housekeeping process run only on the proxies as the server doesn´t poll any devices actively?

I´m asking because the housekeeping process hits 100% for about 5 minutes on the server raising some alerts:

    Code:
Disk I/O is overloaded on Zabbix server
    Thank you

You need to increase memory used to cache data in memory in you DB engine settings. This buffer should be between at least half size of the data kept in DB backend.
