    Monitor vCenter Alerts, Tasks and alarms

    Hi
    on my Zabbix 3.2.4 i dont use the VM autodiscovery for VMS but add host automatically based on Zabbix agent discovery.

    i would like to monitor my vcenter 6 alarms and alerts.
    i am monitoring the ESX using the "Template Virt VMware Hypervisor" but i would like to be notified if there is a vcenter level alert like:
    * An error occurred while taking a snapshot: msg.snapshot.error
    * Host memory usage
    * The vMotion failed because the destination host did not receive data

    these alerts are vcenter level alerts and will not show up on the hosts alert tab.
    any idea where i can download a vcenter template?
    thanks

    Did you finally solve it?

    Hi, I'm looking for a way to monitor at alert level, sending the description of the alert by email. I'm monitoring the overall status of each ESXi, but it is not descriptive, just a three state check.

    thank you!

      Hi

      Has anyone gotten this to work yet?

      I also have been trying with no luck to create triggers for the vsphere eventlog monitoring to give proper discriptions.
      Any help would be greatly appreciated

      Thanks
