Help with url checks

Hi guys

I'm in the process of moving from Nagios to Zabbix and would like some advice on the best way of handling the following checks:-

SSL cert expiry
Domain whois
Website Uptime


My initial idea is to create a Host for each website and also a template which does the checks above and makes use of the {HOST.NAME} variable.

This does appear to work, but is there a better way of doing this?
