VMWare Monitoring triggers

Is there any good documentation on adding triggers for vmware guests? I was able to add a trigger prototype for disk space. I was hoping to look to add more triggers like memory usage or cpu usage. It seems that monitoring using the vmware collector is more limiting. Am I missing something obvious?

It has CPU&Memory usage, so you can just use the template or use it as an example to add your own items.
