Can script be kept on Zabbix server and executed on multiple remote servers?

I am very-very new to Zabbix. Is it possible to keep the script on the Zabbix server and execute that script on multiple remote servers? The servers (Windows or Linux) are on different networks (to connect to them need to go through VPN, etc). The script can be either shell or SQL.
