Zabbix 7.2.13
We have some wireless controllers which when clustered only show the APs directly connected to themselves, such as:
WLC1: AP1, AP2, AP3
WLC2: AP4, AP5, AP6
If AP1 migrates to WLC2, it no longer shows up in WLC1. Or other controllers where a direct active/standby means that all APs are only present on one until failed over, then they are only present on the standby.
This causes the host to get disabled/deleted based on the prototype settings and no longer has status updates. Additionally, WLC2 now attempts to create a "new" host which fails as it is the same hostname. Is there a way to allow the prototyped AP host to "migrate" to WLC2 without deleting and recreating (based on hostname)? For external integration reasons we would prefer the host ID not change, and we are aware that it would be on us to prevent unintended duplicates.
Thanks in advance!
