Howto: Trigger on host A based on log on host B

    Hi all,

I am currently trying to create a trigger accross hosts.

    The situation:
    - we use FSLogix in our environment for user profile mounting

    1. sometimes the profile of a user does not dismount on host A at logoff
    2. when this user logs on to host B his profile can not be mounted, because this is already in use at host A.
    3. This generate a log entry on host B: 'profile for user X can not be mounted, it is already in use at host A'
    4. I have a trigger for the log entry generated in 3 on host B
    5. This is however a trigger on host B, while the cause of the problem is originating from host A.

I would like to trigger on host A, because this is the roote of all evil. And then I can create an action to resolve this issue...

At this moment I can not figure out how to build this in Zabbix

    Thanks in advance!

    Kind regards,

    Ron

Trigger is related to host where item(s) are coming from. If your item is from host B, it will be related to host B, not A... If you have multiple items, from multiple hosts, trigger apeears on all of them...
