    emails for other users

    Hi All,

    I have setup 2 users in zabbix and I made them admins (not super admin), i configured the alerting to target the new users first then the super admins if problems aren't resolved yet.

    I am noticing that the emails aren't even being sent to the new users, only the super admins. What am I doing wrong?

    Make sure the group that the users are in have a minimum of read access to the hosts you want them to get trigger notifications for.

      How do I verify this? I went to the user roles for the group and its set to admin level with the alerting checked and monitoring.

        Log in as that user, can you see the hosts you want that user to monitor?

          This was the issue, i realized I had to add tags for the user indicating which problems they would be responsible for. Can a regular user receive these same alerts?

            All a user needs is read access to a host to get notifications about it.
