Dell R750xs hardware monitoring: http or snmp?

I'm pretty new to hardware monitoring with Zabbix, as I have been monitoring only guests by agents so far.

I need to monitor the hardware of a Dell PowerEdge R750xs and I see that there are two specific templates: DELL PowerEdge R750 by HTTP and DELL PowerEdge R750 by SNMP.

I have full access to the iDRAC and could use either templates. But what are the advantages/disadvantages of one vs the other?

DELL PowerEdge R750 by HTTP will use iDRAC’s web API, which should provide more detailed data, however it will consume more resources comparing to SNMP.
