Check if housekeeper has deleted history

Hi All,
I had previously posted on HDD disk under the below thread and got help from kloczek in putting the right estimates for HDD size.

My issue stemmed from the disk OS and DB was a 180 GB disk. I have moved the DB files over to another disk with 500GB space and set housekeeping parameters of history as 5 days and trends as 365 days. I have also checked hosekeeper in running every one hour and the house keeper busy process is at 1.81% max.
However my DB size is growing exponentially in last 2 days it has grown from 133 GB to 159 GB.
How do i know if housekepper is deleting history? I have checked zabbix server logs and dont find any reference.

I found housekepper wasnt set correctly in zabbix_server.conf. I corrected it and housekepper has started deleting old items.

I did read somewhere that housekeeper only blanks out the table space and doesnt really delete. Inorder to get DB file size lower deleting orphane rows is a must.
