Hi everyone,
I recently noticed that when upgrading Agent 2 from version 6 to 7 on Debian 12 machines, I lose the metrics reporting.
The service starts, but the port is not listening, the log file and PID file are not created, and no errors are reported in the service logs via journalctl.
My Zabbix infrastructure is currently on version 7.0.21. I tried with Agent 2 versions 7.0.22, 7.0.21, and 7.0.19... with the same result every time.
When I downgrade to version 6.0, monitoring resumes without any issues. If I install Agent 2 V7 on Debian 13 VMs instead of Debian 12, everything works fine.
I haven’t found any information on this, so apologies if the topic has already been discussed, but have there been any known incompatibilities between Agent 2 V7 and Debian 12?
Thanks in advance for your help.
