Alerts and Maintenance mode

I have a number of servers being monitored for a specific port. We have weekly reboots so I have a maintenance period set up and that works just fine, we do not get alerts during that time. The issue, is if the port is not reachable and then the maintenance period ends, we get no alert. How can I receive an alert if the trigger is down beyond the maintenance window? Thanks

Can you please show us your trigger and item settings?

I uploaded 3 pictures, item, trigger and action. When the host is not in a maintenance period, it works just fine and we get the alert. But we want to get the alert if the trigger is still set off and it leaves the maintenance period.
