Housekeeping question

Hello,

I've set my house keeping to 14 days. Does this overwrite everything? I have a template I want to keep at 31 days which I I have manually set. I assume I should untick the 'Override item history' now after doing that?

Yes.this will override any values you have set in item itseltf... And I think also those which are shorter than 14d..

Ah I see so is it best to turn override item history and set them manually? I really only want to keep 14 days of history but I have one template where I need to keep 31 days.

It does not have exceptions... so you need to diable it if you need different timeframes. Bad thing is, that new item creation suggest by default 31 days and I am sure noone remembers to set it to 14.. I think it is not somewhere in settings..
