Configuring SNMP on Zabbix Server 3.4

    Hello,

I'm installing a fresh zabbix 3.4 on centOS 7 and I'm trying to configure the SNMP for monitoring my cisco switches and routers.

I've installed the SNMP on my server and it's running:

    " 25144:20170828:111730.491 Starting Zabbix Server. Zabbix 3.4.0 (revision 71467).
    25144:20170828:111730.491 ****** Enabled features ******
    25144:20170828:111730.491 SNMP monitoring: YES
    25144:20170828:111730.491 IPMI monitoring: YES
    25144:20170828:111730.491 Web monitoring: YES
    25144:20170828:111730.491 VMware monitoring: YES
    25144:20170828:111730.492 SMTP authentication: YES
    25144:20170828:111730.492 Jabber notifications: YES
    25144:20170828:111730.492 Ez Texting notifications: YES
    25144:20170828:111730.492 ODBC: YES
    25144:20170828:111730.492 SSH2 support: YES
    25144:20170828:111730.492 IPv6 support: YES

    25144:20170828:111730.492 ******************************
    "

But in the web view of the server, the symbol of snmp agent on my switch is red

In my snmpd.conf I have the following configuration:

    # sec.name source community
    com2sec readonly default public

    # Make at least snmpwalk -v 1 localhost -c public system fast again.

    view all included .1 80
    view system included .1.3.6.1.2.1.1

And in my cisco switch I've this configuration:

    snmp-server server
snmp-server community public ro view Default
    snmp-server host 10.39.10.131 traps version 2c public

    What I'm doing wrong?

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Fábio

Did you configure macro for the community?

Configuration -> Hosts -> (choose host) -> Macros? Should looks like: {$SNMP_COMMUNITY} => public

Which templates did you add to this host?

            Hello Dave,

Yes, I've the community configured. I'm using the "Template Module Interfaces SNMPv2" for now.

            Thank you.
