Hi All, quick question, we are creating a template for the Zabbix Proxy and I need confirmation on the following;
Are the zabbix[wcache] items targeting the host with the template (for example, the Proxy), or will it always return values for the Zabbix Server.
Is there then any reason to add these items to a Template for a Zabbix Proxy?
My own testing shows that the values on the Proxy template reflect almost identically the values for the Application Server, even though the workloads are very different.
If the zabbix[wcache] items are for Zabbix Server only, and have no real effect when assigned to Zabbix Proxy, can I suggest that the documentation is updated to make it very clear that there is no point assigning these items to a Zabbix Proxy?
Thanks
(a side note: when we assign these items, some (or a combination of) seem to cause the Application Server to go haywire. I'm starting to think not all the internal items listed on that documentation page work as described).
