Monitoring zabbix proxy internal checks from another proxy?

I have been trying to diagnose some issues with proxies that get delayed in reporting data to the server.

One of the things that is challenging when a proxy monitors itself, is that if the proxy has any issue...the data about the proxy itself that might help diagnose the issue is also impacted.

I thought i'd try to monitor one proxy from another proxy, but I got confusing results until I read https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...types/internal

I think I now understand that internal checks of the form zabbix[] are always calculated on the server or proxy *doing the monitoring*. Is this correct?

Is there any way to monitor the internal checks on one proxy from another proxy?

zabbix[] internal checks are for server if such items are on the host which is not monitored over proxy and they are sampling proxy A internal metrics if uch items are placed on nany host monitored over the proxy A.
So in other words it is not possible to monitor internal state of the proxy my monitoring it over another proxy,
