    Checking Uplink ISP's Router

I am monitoring ISP's router with icmping in the trigger I am using:
    {Uplink:icmpping.last(0)}#1
    1) Is this a good idea or should I change the (0) to a higher value or any other idea?

    2) When I connecting my router to the Uplink ISP's router, I don't understand what on or off mean here in the connection form! Does off mean its working, and On means its not? I want to use blue color for when the ping returns okay and red for when the ping is not returning.

So when a trigger is thrown does it mean its on?

You have #1, which is "not 1". If icmpping is returning 1, the above trigger would be false. This is when you want it blue. When icmpping returns anything but 1, the trigger will be true, and you want it red.

As for your answer to question 1, that depends on how reliable your line is, and your entire infrastructure, the load on the server, etc. I'd usually average a couple of tests, otherwise you may end up with a few false positives a day.
