Can zabbix-proxy use the system dns cache?

I've researched a bit about this, but i only find people complaining about zabbix agent ~ zabbix server repeated dns requests.

Im curious about Zabbix Proxy ~ hosts added by fqdn, if it can use the local systemctl-resolve or any dns caching on the system the proxy itself is using.

I know about https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBXNEXT-1002 but it seems to apply to only the zabbix agent?

    Any info would be valuable.

    Thanks!

EDIT : upon further testing it appears using systemctl-resolve and with the loopback dns configured on system the zabbix uses the cache.
