ZABBIX PROXY 3.4.0
Many times happen that after the following message on zabbix-proxy log (may be due to unreachable period), data related to the monitored host (in this example pvmas018) are no retrieved anymore (also if agent check has been enabled again and it is available on host configuration availability and status).
zabbix_proxy.log: 1580:20170922:111715.225 Zabbix agent item "vfs.fs.size[/,used]" on host "pvmas018" failed: first network error, wait for 15 seconds
zabbix_proxy.log: 1593:20170922:111800.388 Zabbix agent item "net.if.in[eth0]" on host "pvmas018" failed: another network error, wait for 15 seconds
zabbix_proxy.log: 1593:20170922:111845.396 temporarily disabling Zabbix agent checks on host "pvmas018": host unavailable
zabbix_proxy.log: 1592:20170922:111931.815 enabling Zabbix agent checks on host "pvmas018": host became available
The only way to keep in working again is to restart zabbix-proxy service.
No further information are presents on logs.
Do you have any suggestion to avoid this behaviour ? Are you experiencing the same problem ?
P.S.: Timeout have been increased on all servers (server, proxy & agents)
